I’m glad this issue is receiving national attention by the news media.  It is a serious issue that needs to be addressed before the larger generation (boomers) start to face this issue on a larger scale. 

Remember, when you are considering long term care for your loved ones, be sure to see if the home does background checks on employees as well as other clients.  Also ask how they deal with resident on resident abuse.

We’ll have to keep an eye on the Oklahoma legislation to see if other states will follow.
